House of Straw

This naturally aesthetic straw bale home and studio has been one of our favourite builds to date. We absolutely loved using the beautiful Shou Sugi Ban japanese burnt timber cladding throughout the build.

The use of straw bale is becoming increasingly popular due to the multiple advantages, including being more affordable, consuming less energy, using less materials, fire and vermin resistant, excellent insulation properties as well as soundproofing and long term durability.
Straw bale is an environmentally friendly and a great alternate way to build your home.
